Celebrate Colorado Gives Day and join the American Heart Association and 5280 Magazine for#TweetsforBeats at the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant on Tuesday December 4, 2012 from5:30-8:30 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to tweet from the event using the hashtag #TweetsforBeats. There will prizes given for those who tweet the most or tweet the answer to our CPR and AED themed questions. There will also be a few tables set up with manikins and AEDs with volunteers who can walk attendees through how to perform CPR and use an AED. 

Guests will be given 2 drinks tickets to redeem for TWO mini margaritas at the Rio. Light, heart healthy appetizers will also be served during the evening. We are looking forward to seeing you as you come out and support the American Heart Associations mission in training Denver and Colorado lifesaving CPR techniques.

You will be Helping to Make Colorado a Safer Place to Live 
The American Heart Association has created a multi-year community CPR training initiative in Colroado using our CPR Anytime curriculum. The goal is to increase bystander CPR by training our community in Hands-Only CPR at events, in schools, and through community partnerships. In Denver, bystrander CPR is only administered 25% of the time, which is below the national average of 41%.

The entry fee for this event and all Colorado Gives Day donations to the American Heart Association will allow us to offer CPR Anytime Kits and the curriculum free of charge to the community.
